Job Overview:

The Field Leader role is a senior position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the operation of an Underground Power Distribution team based at a depot in Melbourne's western suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of employees, contractors and service providers
  • Oversee local inventory, stores and logistics requirements with assistance from Supply Chain experts
  • Ensure effective utilization of resources to meet timeline, quality, HSE, network reliability and cost targets
  • Communicate and manage upgrades in technology and continuous improvement of field practices
  • Drive a safety-first culture in all day-to-day operations

Requirements:

  • A strong work history of working with underground electrical distribution assets, construction and maintenance operations
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen to manage and deliver projects to budget
  • A proven track record in leading teams and coaching individuals (particularly field crew)
