Job Role: Support Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Care Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for delivering exceptional support services, fostering meaningful relationships with individuals and their families.

This role involves providing personalized care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and respect. Successful candidates will have a kind, patient nature with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as toileting, showering, meal preparation, and household duties. In addition, they must be willing to work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment and possess a car and driver's license.

Applicants must hold a Certificate 3 in Disability Support Services or Age Care, along with a minimum of six months experience in supporting people with disabilities. A Working with Children's Check is required, with preference given to those with relevant industry-related reference checks.

Advantageous qualifications include mental health experience, working with children (specifically 8 years old), and being willing to work non-traditional schedules. Female staff members are also encouraged to apply.
