We are seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in our company's success. This individual will be responsible for supply chain planning: material planning, purchasing and freight from Asia to the rest of the world.

The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will develop supply plans against forecasts for suppliers to procure, manufacture and ship against maintaining prescribed stock levels. Additionally, this role will coordinate the outbound supply of materials from Asia and transports to Zoomo locations globally via sea or air with the logistics team.

This position requires strong analytical skills, including solid comfort with Excel. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in a time-critical supply chain planning role and a tertiary qualification in Commerce/business/agribusiness/supply chain.

  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasting models to ensure volume coverage to supplied forecasts
  • Coordinate daily supplier relationships and review open purchase orders for potential changes
  • Owning timely communication to management and regional teams of any supply delays
  • Build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be proactive, ambitious and assertive, taking ownership of their work. Experience in importations and knowledge of inventory management is a must. Previous experience working an ERP system (Netsuite, SAP) and exposure to Business Intelligence tools is highly regarded.

  • 7+ years' experience in a time critical supply chain planning role
  • Quantitative and analytical experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/business/agribusiness/supply chain
  • Experience in importations and knowledge of inventory management
  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous experience working an ERP system and exposure to BI tools
