Main Responsibilities- Supervise and Support Night Shift Operations: Ensure adherence to work allocation, driver schedules, and service metrics.
- Ensure Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety requirements and operational plans.
- Monitor KPIs: Achieve service levels through effective monitoring and assessment of transport performance indicators.
- Manage Subcontractors: Ensure compliance with cartage contracts and FoxLink requirements.
- Reconcile Assets: Conduct daily and weekly reconciliation of inventory, pallets, and transport equipment.
- Optimise Payloads: Implement strategies for route and schedule success to achieve commercial returns.
- Coordinate Resource Planning: Align daily activities with forecast and budget plans.
- Collaborate with Subcontractors: Meet seasonal requirements effectively.
- Prior experience in a leadership position within the Transport/Logistics sector.
- Ability to lead and nurture a high-performing team.
- Detailed and analytical skills with proficiency in diverse systems.
- Self-motivation to accomplish results-driven outcomes.
