About the role at Pyramid Global Technologies

Job Description:

As a Power BI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing reporting solutions using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in reporting development and a strong understanding of Power BI desktop.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting Development:

• Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.

Data Management:

• Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence.

Analysis and Security:

• Analyze data to create informative reports and visuals.

• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.

Technical Skills:

• Expert in using advanced-level calculations on data sets.

• Knowledge of Agile techniques, CI/CD, Automated Testing, and software delivery technical skills.

• Familiarity with platform automation tools (AWS, Jenkins, GITHUB) and workflow tools (JIRA/Rally).

• Exposure to Cloud: AWS (S3, EMR, EC2, etc.), Azure.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in reporting development.

• Strong understanding of Power BI desktop.

• Excellent communication skills to discuss requirements with client and internal teams.
