Credit Controller Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cash collection, inbound calls, order release, query management, ledger management, and fuel cards.

  • Key responsibilities include actively chasing all overdue B2B & B2C debt to ensure timely payments.
  • Manage customer and internal depot calls effectively.
  • Review stopped orders regularly and work with Sales Teams to clear balances or queries.
  • Identify queries and resolve them with Sales Teams to maintain good customer service levels.
  • Regularly review debt ledgers, account reconciliations, and manage unallocated cash efficiently.
  • Oversee high-spend fuel card accounts and ensure credit exposure is within acceptable limits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong commercial awareness in a competitive industry.
  • Excellent telephone manner and experience in high-volume inbound and outbound calls.
  • Effective communication skills with both B2B and B2C customers.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is desirable.
