The role of Clinical Development Officer is a pivotal position that requires a skilled and experienced professional to deliver high-quality learning and development opportunities for clinical and care support teams.
This Clinical Development Officer will work closely with General and Clinical Care Managers, as well as the Clinical Governance team, to ensure seamless integration of training initiatives across designated Aged Care Homes and interstate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement clinical learning programs utilizing contemporary learning principles to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Provide best practice clinical education and development support across regional locations, promoting professional growth and competence.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to design, evaluate, and refine training initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Manage regional training calendars and support site managers in local training planning and delivery, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Act as a mentor and role model, promoting professional growth and Infinite Care's values among clinical and care teams.
- Contribute to organization-wide clinical education projects, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving excellence in aged care services.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A current unrestricted registration as a registered Nurse.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with a strong focus on clinical education and teaching.
- Experience in development, delivery, and coordination of Nursing education programs, with a proven track record of success.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Education, Clinical Supervision, or similar (or working towards).
- A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and a current driver's license, with the ability to travel between SA Care Homes and occasional travel to NSW & VIC.
