About the Role
- Competitive hourly rate of up to $52.62, with opportunities for overtime earnings.
- Full-time position with 76 hours scheduled bi-weekly, Monday through Friday.
We are currently seeking a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is based in our workshop and involves servicing, preventative maintenance, and managing breakdowns of various diesel-powered mobile equipment, including loaders, tractors, and generators. While most tasks will be performed in the workshop, occasional travel may be necessary for on-site repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on vehicles and equipment.
- Repair and replace components in engine, steering, transmission, and braking systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain parts inventory and ensure workshop cleanliness.
About Your Experience
We are looking for candidates with a relevant trade certificate in diesel or automotive mechanics. Ideal applicants will demonstrate strong diagnostic skills, a proactive approach to safety, and reliability. Proficiency in computer systems, effective time management, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Candidates must be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces. A HR license is preferred but not mandatory.
