Ensure Recruitment is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to lead our Financial Lines Claims team. As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for managing, upskilling, and coaching the team to build a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage, upskill, and coach the team to achieve exceptional results and drive business growth.
  • Claims Management: Review and implement new performance standards, manage culture shift, and work on a portfolio of financial lines claims, including product liability and cyber.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with underwriters to enable the resolution of complex claims and manage service issues.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze claims reports, making recommendations to improve processes and drive business outcomes.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior brokers and account directors to develop claims strategies and support them at meetings.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and experience, able to get team members on board with a new way of working.
  • Negotiation and Problem-Solving: Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex situations and communicate with insurers, brokers, underwriters, and legal representatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Technical expertise in financial lines, including product liability and cyber.
  • Client Confidence: Ability to build client confidence and provide a best-in-class claims advocacy service.
  • Report Writing: Outstanding report writing ability for presentation to clients and internal stakeholders.
