Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and care to children aged 0-5 years.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) as approved by ACECQA, or be working towards it. They will also possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to participate in decision-making and problem-solving, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence, leadership, and innovation.

In this role, you will engage with children in a supportive and inclusive environment, using play-based learning pedagogy that is fun, engaging, and child-centered. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement programs that meet individual needs and promote holistic child development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with children aged 0-5 years to meet individual programming needs as part of a dynamic team.
  • Engage in high-quality pedagogical programming integrating the Early Years Learning Framework, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Standards.
  • Participate in decision-making and problem-solving; use a variety of interpersonal skills within multiple teams.
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence, leadership, and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) as approved by ACECQA, or be working towards it.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate, and Working with Children Check, as approved by ACECQA.
  • Must be an Accredited Teacher and actively working towards the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers for Provisional Teachers.
  • Must meet the minimum prescribed requirements of a responsible person as per the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in decision-making and problem-solving; strong interpersonal skills in multiple teams.
