We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintainer to join our team at Queensland Rail, based in Bowen Hills. This role involves providing safe and efficient maintenance of Traveltrain rollingstock and associated components.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance, presentation, and repair of diesel engines, hydraulics systems, pneumatics, and refrigeration equipment. With a strong focus on safety, you will work closely with our team to ensure the highest standards are met.
Requirements- Trades Certificate as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent qualification
- Proven fault-finding experience in diesel engines, hydraulics systems, pneumatics, and refrigeration
- Strong commitment to safety
- A competitive salary ranging from $107,193 to $116,332 per year, plus 12.75% superannuation
- An 8-day fortnight rotational roster across day shifts, afternoon shifts, and weekends
- Ongoing support to develop your skills and experience
