Transformative Systems Engineering Leadership

We're driving innovation in air traffic control by fusing cutting-edge research and development with market expertise. Our team tackles complex problems to create a safer, more efficient aviation landscape.

This leadership role involves spearheading the transformation of our OneSKY 'Civil and Military Air Traffic Control System' (CMATS) in Australia. You'll oversee 11% of the world's airspace, championing aviation technology advancements.

This position has two key focus areas: Work Package Management and Systems Engineering Leadership. You'll lead a team of over 40 experts, defining and maintaining system specifications, architecture, and configuration management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead system engineering, architecture, and CM activities
- Coordinate engineering stakeholders to meet project milestones and costs
- Ensure functional baselines and requirements traceability
- Drive process improvement and tackle backlog effectively
- Develop policies, standards, and procedures for technical work
- Plan, launch, and execute the Work Package, ensuring alignment with project structure and customer requirements
- Manage scope changes, risks, and stakeholder relations effectively
- Capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
