We seek an experienced field operations leader with exceptional problem-solving skills and a proven track record in managing crews in remote environments. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality through thorough QA/QC processes, meeting and exceeding company standards.

  • Key Responsibilities

This role entails leading daily field operations, supervising team members, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your primary objectives include:

  1. Leading field operations, fostering productivity and teamwork, while prioritizing safety
  2. Planning and executing surveys by translating project designs into practical workflows
  3. Ensuring data quality and integrity through first-pass QA/QC
  4. Driving safety and compliance through effective risk assessments and incident reporting
  5. Maintaining clear communication with the project manager and clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule
  6. Mentoring team members to promote growth, engagement, and professional development
  • Requirements

To excel in this position, you must possess:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or Geosciences, with at least 5 years of relevant field experience
  2. Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams in challenging environments
  3. A commitment to safety, compliance, and delivering high-quality results
  4. The ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances
