About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer or Architect to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will see you working on a variety of projects from concept through to delivery.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver projects, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed.
  • Help define project scope and clarify briefs, contributing to fee proposals.
  • Develop and present concept sketches and diagrams in 2D and 3D formats.
  • E nsure all designs comply with relevant Australian standards and building codes.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation in a timely manner.
  • Manage client relationships and coordinate project work from start to finish.
  • Liaise with consultants and contractors across all project phases.
  • Handle permit applications, from development to occupancy.
  • Lead projects, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure design intent is maintained.
  • Attend site meetings, surveys, and inspections across various locations.
Requirements
  • A degree in Design, Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from a recognized Australian institution.
  • 5-8 years of local experience, particularly in retail and commercial sectors.
  • A strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.
  • Proven project management and coordination skills.
  • High proficiency in Revit for documentation.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team.
