About the role
Join our architectural practice as an Interior Designer. In this full-time role based in our South Yarra office, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the design and aesthetic of high-end residential projects across Melbourne.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborating with the architecture and design team to develop high end interior design concepts
- Producing detailed design documentation including plans, elevations, renders and specification schedules
- Sourcing and specifying high-quality fixtures, finishes and fittings, preparation of Look & Feel packages
- Managing client presentations and design reviews to gain approvals
- Coordinating with builders and tradespeople to oversee the successful implementation of interior designs
- Ensuring all projects adhere to relevant building codes, regulations and sustainability requirements
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as an Interior Designer, preferably in a residential design practice
- Strong design skills with an exceptional eye for detail and aesthetics
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D design software
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Outstanding organisational abilities and the capacity to multitask effectively
