As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide one-on-one support to clients with intellectual disabilities, helping them engage and participate in their communities. You will be part of a team that helps people achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support to meet each client's goals and needs
  • Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
  • Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
  • Facilitate community access and transport using company vehicles or public transport
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
  • Respond appropriately to incidents in line with guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays
  • Hold a valid Driver's Licence and be confident driving company vehicles
  • Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient individual
  • Experience in disability support (preferably)
  • Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirably)
