
Financial Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities
This role involves providing accurate and timely financial management support to the organization. Key duties include maintaining financial records, following up on outstanding accounts, monitoring credit card and travel agent commissions, preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and month-end documentation, as well as supporting internal team training and contributing to a culture of learning and compliance.
- Compile and review financial data for accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate discrepancies in financial transactions and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in financial services.
- Support the implementation of financial systems and processes that promote efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in finance, accounting, business or a related field, have a minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry, demonstrate solid knowledge of financial systems and accounting procedures, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and financial software systems, possess strong attention to detail with excellent time management and prioritization skills, and exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
