About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking applications for passionate and driven Communications Coordinator looking to either kick star their career in Communications, to join our Melbourne team.
The successful applicant/s will bring a motivated, proactive, and friendly approach, with a positive can-do attitude.
You will have previous industry internship experience within the communications sectors.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Providing successful account coordination support to clients and become an extension of their team
- Supporting the AMPR team to secure and grow relationships with nominated accounts by providing personal, attentive, high quality and effective PR services that exceed client's expectations and KPIs
- Building strong client partnerships using your exceptional relationships, organisational and communication skills
- With the Communications Manager, support to develop creative and relevant concepts and campaigns to meet client needs and exceed expectations
- Support on the delivery of projects, ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction and results
- Support the Communications Manager to retain and grow your client base, by always seeking new and innovative opportunities
The skills you'll need:
To shine in this role, you will:
- Be tertiary qualified in Communications, Journalism or a related discipline
- Have agency internship experience (preferable) working with retail, consumer and lifestyle brands
- Be passionate, honest, hardworking and driven to succeed
- Be able to keep your cool under pressure by being organised, effective with your time and able to problem solve
- Exceptional communication skills
- Outstanding negotiation skills
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, Abobe Indesign
