Job Title: Grounds and Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and safety of our village.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gardening and Groundskeeping: Maintain the gardens and grounds of our village through regular gardening, mowing lawns, and other general gardening duties.
  • Maintenance Excellence: Carry out various maintenance tasks to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards.
  • Transportation: Safely drive our village van to local destinations, assisting residents with essential services and social activities.

About You:

  • Experience: Previous experience in grounds and maintenance is preferred, ideally in retirement villages, aged care, or community settings.
  • Independence and Initiative: You can work autonomously, using your initiative to solve problems and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: You are comfortable engaging with residents and colleagues, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Physical Fitness: The role involves physical activity, so being in good physical shape is essential.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for transporting residents.
