We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our team as a Sport Services Officer. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that promote active lifestyles and foster community engagement.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bookings, coordinating facility maintenance, and ensuring that our venues meet the evolving needs of our residents. You will also develop partnerships with local sporting clubs, associations, and schools, creating a collaborative environment that fosters growth and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and review policies aimed at optimising sport facilities and open spaces for current and future generations.
  • Coordinate facility bookings and ensure equitable access, while maintaining a keen eye on data to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with local stakeholders, including sporting clubs, associations, and schools.
  • Administer licences and agreements, coordinate facility maintenance requests, and ensure that our venues are welcoming and well-maintained.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Sport, Office Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Proven customer service skills and experience within the sport sector.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience using electronic booking systems and managing financial transactions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse groups.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary ranging from $80,196 to $85,005 gross p.a., plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • A permanent full-time position, working 35 hours per week with the option of a 19-day month (flex time arrangement).
