About The Role

The Police, Ambulance and Clinical Early Response model centres on a dedicated joint police and mental health secondary response activated by police, targeted to times of greatest demand and offering on-site and telephone mental health assistance.

This role involves providing clinical support and strategies to manage consumers' mental health crises in the community in the least restrictive manner, offering alternative care pathways, working as an integral part of an operational police unit as required, and providing advanced interventions including triage, mental health assessment, and management of complex emergencies and crises.
