Structures and Infrastructure Project Manager

A dynamic opportunity exists for an accomplished Team Leader to join our Community Infrastructure Division. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Structures and Stormwater Team.
About the Role:- Oversee the daily activities of the Stormwater and Structures Team, ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance and repairs.
- Perform regular safety checks on worksites, plant, and stormwater management systems, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and safety protocols.
- Deliver consistent and decisive leadership to the team.
- Mentor and support team development through training and performance feedback.
- Manage stormwater and concrete structures across our road network.
- Coordinate work with contractors, ensuring all work adheres to construction standards and environmental policies, with quality verification upon completion.
- Supervise the daily activities of the Stormwater and Structures Team.
- Ensure efficient delivery of maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct regular safety checks on worksites, plant, and stormwater management systems.
- Provide guidance and support to the team.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and experience in supervising and leading staff.
- Knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in plant and equipment used in formwork, concreting, road construction, and pipe laying, including the operation of various hand and power tools.
- Familiarity with employee obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act.
- Developed written and oral communication skills, along with computer literacy and numeracy skills.
- Construction Industry Training (White Card), current MR driver's licence, and ability to work out of hours within an on-call roster.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. They will also have a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, with the ability to ensure compliance with WHS legislation.
