About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior MEP Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality MEP services.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing teams, leading bid opportunities, and developing cost management strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of MEP services from feasibility cost planning to agreement of final account.
- Managing and developing the MEP team to deliver exceptional results.
- Leading MEP bid opportunities and working with stakeholders to grow the business.
- Collaborating with the Queensland Director to develop and implement cost management strategies.
- Assisting on feasibility studies, writing procurement reports, and estimating and cost planning.
- Dealing effectively with post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
Requirements:
- Must be based in Australia with full working rights.
- A recognized degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering is desired.
- MRICS/AIQS accreditation or equivalent is ideal.
- Relevant work experience in a consultancy environment is essential.
- Excellent understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Experience in the cost management sector is highly valued.
- Proficient in the use of CostX and other relevant software.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- Understanding of or interest in alternative technologies and ecologically sustainable design.
