Configuration Change Officer

We are a leading submarine company supporting the Royal Australian Navy. Our role offers a deeper purpose, flexibility and security to balance life and work.

This career opportunity includes processing configuration management activities within systems and conducting audits to manage the configuration management baseline.

About the Role
  • Review documentation in technical environments to determine implementation and status of engineering changes on submarines
  • Review and confirm changes performed requiring data entry across multiple software programs ensuring integrity and accuracy
  • Physical audits require utilising documentation while physically going on board the submarine to validate all identified changes including confined spaces
  • Analyse and identify anomalies and read and understand documentation relating to engineering change activities
  • Conduct tasks directed by the Configuration Change Lead to meet schedule deadlines
  • Report and communicate status of Configuration Management tasks with projected view for management
  • Escalate any issues, problems or challenges through the hierarchy chain offering solutions where possible
About You
  • Proven experience in a Senior Administration role or Coordination
  • Experience in a Configuration Management environment (desired)
  • Experience in a technical environment or trade (desired)
  • Transferable skills in working environments with change management mechanical and/or electrical or similar
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical skills through accurate and focused work ethic
  • Undertake tasks accordingly with a high standard of personal organisation and departmental goals
  • Understanding of management approaches such as work scheduling prioritising and process execution
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office and general technology proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with internal teams external stakeholders and customers
Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology

Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals
