Job Description

A senior family law professional is sought to lead our team of lawyers in a key leadership role, providing expert guidance and representation to clients facing complex family law matters.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in complex family law cases, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and motivate junior lawyers. They will also possess excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills, as well as a strong understanding of the sensitivities surrounding family law issues.

  • Lead and manage a team of family lawyers, ensuring a high standard of client service and effective case management.
  • Provide expert legal representation to clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, child custody and support, and domestic violence.
  • Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Negotiate and mediate complex family law issues.
  • Appear in court and represent clients effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant family law legislation and case law.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

Key Qualifications:

  • Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland and in good standing.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in complex family law matters.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and motivate junior lawyers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a strong understanding of the sensitivities surrounding family law issues.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a high workload and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
