">About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our maintenance team as a Warehouse Maintenance Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of service by maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all facilities and equipment are in good working order, and providing support to other teams as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize productivity and efficiency
  • Operate various pieces of equipment such as garbage compactors, cardboard balers, and other machinery to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the warehouse to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime
  • Purchase necessary supplies and materials for projects and tasks as required
  • Maintain the grounds outside the warehouse, including lawn mowing, leaf blowing, and litter collection to ensure a well-manicured appearance
  • Assist with installing and repairing building displays and fixtures to maintain a visually appealing environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to members, employees, and vendors by being responsive, courteous, and professional

Requirements:

  • Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience in a janitorial, maintenance, or comparable role
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and find solutions
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate and thorough completion of tasks

Working Conditions:

  • Rotating roster which may include weekend shifts between 5am-11pm
  • May require working in varying weather conditions
