Role Overview

Under the direction of the Device Care Centre Lead, the Quality Assurance Manager will play a pivotal role in executing effective quality management strategies for our operations. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality management of Assurant's products and services, including the repair and refurbishment of mobile devices, tablets, and other electronic products.

  • Establishing and executing quality management and audit strategies.
  • Analyzing fault trends and initiating necessary improvement measures.
  • Collaborating with repair vendors, manufacturers, customer service units, and operational teams.
  • Developing, implementing, documenting, and monitoring quality standards, processes, and controls.
  • Tracking and reporting quality issue trends to internal operations, OEM repairers, and partners to ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Creating and implementing training programs for quality management personnel and operations.
  • Ensuring adherence to established regulatory procedures and company quality standards, while actively supporting continuous improvement and corrective actions as necessary.
  • Overseeing the development and maintenance of an effective quality management system, ensuring efficient workflows, meeting customer expectations/SLAs, establishing performance standards, delineating duties and responsibilities, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and ensuring timely communication of relevant information.
  • Defining requirements for suppliers/vendors and monitoring their performance and compliance.

Are you the right fit?

  • Proven experience in service and/or quality management
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, particularly in the wireless/mobile device sector
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in quality delivery and management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders
  • Openness to change and adeptness at managing complexities
  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Strong leadership skills and meticulous attention to detail
