Perioperative Services Manager Job Summary

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Perioperative Services Manager to join our team and lead the perioperative department. The ideal candidate will have experience in service planning, commissioning, implementation, and ongoing operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise and leadership for perioperative services, working closely with the hospital executive team, VMOs, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective management of resources, including equipment and scheduling of theatre utilisation, aligning service delivery with demand and activity targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate equipment needs, use, and maintenance with specialist groups and coordinate tendering and procurement processes.
  • Provide effective clinical leadership to the Perioperative services team and ensure the training and development program is appropriate to meet the needs of staff.
