Student Ambassadors, Prospective Student Office

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and outgoing students to join our team of ambassadors. As a Student Ambassador, you will play an important role in representing the University at events and activities that engage future students.

You will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of outreach activities, student recruitment events, on-campus days, call campaigns, career expos, and mentoring programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your experiences of university life with diverse audiences and make a real impact on the lives of prospective students.

As a casual staff member, you will be provided with induction and training for the role and offered work on an ad hoc basis throughout the year based on your availability and skill set.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the University in a positive and professional manner at events
  • Engage future students and other stakeholders, sharing your experiences of university life with diverse audiences
  • Lead campus tours for individuals and groups of prospective students
  • Deliver workshops and presentations to groups of high school students and parents about university admissions, scholarships, and transition into university
Requirements
  • Have completed at least one semester of study at the University by the end of 2025 and have at least one year of study remaining
  • Have a current Working with Children Check or be willing to obtain one
  • Have excellent customer service skills
