Structural Engineering Opportunities

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on both mechanical systems and structural integrity of plant equipment, infrastructure, and shutdown projects in the mining sector.

  • Analyzing and assessing plant equipment and structural components.
  • Designing modifications to optimize existing mechanical and structural systems.
  • Assisting in the design and coordination of new equipment installations, including load-bearing supports, platforms, and foundations.
  • Supporting shutdown planning — including developing detailed work packs, schedules, and estimates.
  • Preparing technical specifications for tendering, reviewing supplier proposals, and supporting contract awards.
  • Collaborating with experienced engineers on troubleshooting and problem-solving for mechanical and structural challenges.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Holding (or about to complete) a degree in Mechanical Engineering — with interest in or exposure to structural engineering principles.
  • Having strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Being proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with project planning tools.
  • Having some exposure to CAD software.
  • Being eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to work in a dynamic industrial environment.
