
Lead Educator and Montessori Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Lead Educator to join our Infant Community team in a permanent full-time role. This position requires availability Monday to Friday.
This role will involve leading a classroom of 12 children aged between 15 months and 3 years, with the support of two full-time assistant educators and one lunch/programming cover assistant.
About the RoleAs a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and well-being of our young students.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programs
- Developing and implementing curriculum plans that meet the needs of our students
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies for growth
- Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment
- Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Room Leader in a Montessori environment
- Holding (or working towards) a Montessori 0-3 qualification
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent approved by ACECQA)
- An understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
- A current Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates (or ability to obtain these certificates)
