Senior Automation Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Specialist to enhance our automation framework and ensure repeatable and scalable test automation across our data platform.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop automated test cases to guarantee data accuracy and integrity
  • Create Python and SQL scripts to streamline test execution and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with the data platform team to design orchestration pipelines for end-to-end test automation
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with expertise in writing scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of data systems
  • In-depth knowledge of data processing, storage, and retrieval
  • Familiarity with AWS, particularly cloud storage (S3) and data warehousing (Redshift)
  • Understanding of Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
  • Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid foundation in working within Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and analytical skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Deep interest in leveraging AI to enhance processes and drive test automation efficiencies
