Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Aviation Maintenance Professionals to support the F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler platform in a Modification and Deeper Level maintenance facility.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is at the cutting edge of new emerging technologies, collaborating with Defence industry partners to advance the nation's defensive capabilities.

  • Your Role:
  • Carry out structures aircraft and component servicing
  • Provide supervision as necessary
  • Undertake Quality Inspection activities for structures
  • Complete assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of activities, requiring the application of training provided in accordance with documentation
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks carried out comply with applicable requirements and are certified in maintenance documentation
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures
  • Liaise with Design Organisation and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation in relation to repair design and incorporation

Key Accountabilities:

  • Reporting to the assigned Operations Manager
  • Liaising with other teams involved in maintenance operations
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Essential Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Aero skills (Structures)
  • Demonstrate understanding of Quality Assurance procedures
  • Meet security requirements of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures
  • Hold a C class driver's license
  • Obtain Australian Negative Vetting 1 security clearance
