Telecommunications Technician Trainee

Ventia is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Trainee Telecommunications Technicians. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in the telecommunications industry.
As a Trainee, you will be working in a dynamic environment across various parts of our Telecommunications division and locations throughout Melbourne. You will have the opportunity to attain a nationally recognized qualification, a Certificate III in Telecommunications, while gaining hands-on experience in the field.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to plan and coordinate field works, and liaise with customers. You will also have the ability to work in a team environment, think critically, and be technically minded.
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- NBN customer premise installations
- NBN Network maintenance
- Fibre Optic Installations
- Voice and Data cable installation
- Telecommunications network management
