About the Role

Ventia is seeking expressions of interest for Telecommunications Trainees for permanent positions based out of our offices in Melbourne.

As a Telecommunications Trainee, you will be working in a fast-paced environment across different parts of our Telecommunications division and locations throughout Melbourne while attaining a Certificate III in Telecommunications. The ideal applicant will have the ability to plan and coordinate field works and liaise with customers.

The successful candidates will experience:

  • NBN customer premise installations
  • NBN Network maintenance
  • Fibre Optic Installations
  • Voice and Data cable installation
  • Telecommunications network management

About You

  • Professional and polite communication
  • Enjoy working in a team environment
  • Positive attitude and safety-first approach
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
  • Be technically minded.

The successful applicants will be required to undertake a National Police check and medical as per contractual requirements and hold a valid driver's licence.
