Online Law Specialist

This role offers an opportunity to support and guide students through their learning journey as a key member of our online education team.
The position will be working within our organization, in association with Swinburne Online. Our online degrees are designed to meet the educational needs of those seeking a qualification from an internationally ranked university in a flexible manner.
You will facilitate planned academic content and serve as the first point of contact and support for online students. The role is remote, offering flexibility in where and when you work.
About this RoleThis is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on students' experiences. You will be responsible for delivering planned academic content, learning activities, and assessment tasks, including moderation, assessment, and feedback.
- Delivering one 3-hour live, synchronous online workshop per unit each week
- Preparing brief teaching materials, such as slides or activity sheets, as needed
Must-have qualifications and experience include:
- A TEQSA AQF level 8 qualification or higher
- A law degree meeting the academic requirements for admission to legal practice in your Australian state or territory
- 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably as a Lawyer, Solicitor, or Barrister
Additional skills include:
- High-level written communication skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Comfort with learning new technologies
