Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Transport Operator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in the Bundaberg and surrounding Sunshine Coast region, as well as operating manufacturing machinery when delivery days are quiet.

This is a full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday from 5AM to 1PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review vehicle load sheets
  • Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
  • Deliver to customers and place onsite as required
  • Capture pictures of items delivered for Proof of Delivery (POD)
  • Maintain vehicle and driver logs
  • Liaise with dispatch and customers on delivery issues and delays
  • Keep a clean truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
  • Operate machinery as required

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current HR License
  • Forklift Ticket
  • Desirable: Hiab Crane experience
  • Flexibility and willingness to operate machinery - we will train you
