Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Freight Transport Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods from Childers to Brisbane and back, utilizing their expertise in vehicle handling and navigation.

This is a full-time permanent position, requiring a 6 and 5 Roster (Sunday to Friday and then Sunday to Thursday). The ideal candidate must be available to commence work in the afternoon (approximately 3:30 pm start, hours may vary) and be fit and able to complete a 12-14 hour shift.

The role involves delivering freight safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures, including hazard, near miss, and incident reporting processes. Additionally, regular vehicle pre-start checks will be required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Experience in a similar transportation role
  • A valid and current MC Licence
  • A BFM Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • A safety-first approach and commitment to WHS practices and procedures
