Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our operation at Middlemount Mine. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for heavy equipment and a commitment to safety.

  • As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing plant, equipment, machinery and vehicles in our workshop.
  • You will also provide support to other trades for general maintenance activities, including identifying opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment and machinery.
  2. Diagnose and repair complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
  3. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard of quality and safety.
  4. Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
  • Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain).
  • RIISAM212D - Service mine plant and equipment.
  • HR drivers license.
  • Previous experience as a Service Person within the mining industry.
  • Desirable qualifications include RIIVEH307 - Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle VOC and RIIVEH306 - Operate a Mine Service Vehicle VOC.
