Diesel Mechanic Position

This role is focused on delivering top-notch maintenance and repairs to heavy mobile equipment. We are looking for an experienced professional who can join our team in a demanding industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment including loaders, trucks, drills, graders, and excavators.
  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled repairs as required, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety and environmental procedures.
  • Maintain accurate service records and report equipment condition, collaborating with supervisors and other trades to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Australian recognised Trade Qualification - Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic.
  • Previous experience working on mining or heavy industrial mobile plant equipment, with strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability across a range of OEM equipment.
  • Sound understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems, with commitment to safety and compliance with site policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a team and under minimal supervision, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
