Job Overview

The role of a Planner is to effectively manage the allocation, scheduling, and issuance of jobs to suppliers. This position involves closely monitoring the progress of works to ensure they are completed within agreed timelines.

This position plays a vital role in helping our organisation contribute to expanding broadband access to thousands of homes each year.

We are committed to delivering quarterly target homes passed (THP) in numerous areas through our partnership with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accepting jobs and allocating these to the necessary suppliers, as well as scheduling these works to be completed.
  • Liaising with clients in regards to queries surrounding jobs.
  • Ensuring that delivery forecast trackers and documents are kept up to date daily.
  • Liaising with other departments to discuss additional requirements.
  • Assisting with the closure of jobs once works have been completed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in computer skills – experience of working with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage expectations.
  • Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
