Job Description:

Lead Technologies Faculty

We are seeking a visionary leader to head our Technologies faculty. The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction and continuous improvement of the Technologies curriculum.

The Director of Engineering and Design will:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Design Technologies and Engineering.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving.
  • Mentor and support staff within the Technologies faculty, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Manage department resources to ensure the effective delivery of the Technologies program.
  • Build partnerships with industry leaders and external stakeholders to enhance student learning opportunities and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Design, Technology, or related fields).
  • Proven leadership experience within an educational institution or similar environment.
  • A deep understanding of Technologies education including curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
