Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NOC Engineer to join our team in monitoring, incident response, and operational support of our international optical and IP networks. As a key member of our global team, you will work within a rotating shift roster to monitor network performance, resolve incidents, manage stakeholder communications, automation, and execute change activities to ensure service continuity across critical infrastructure.

This role requires a proactive individual with experience in the operations space, a passion for automation, and a proven track record of delivering transformative results. Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Proven experience in monitoring all network infrastructure, including fibre systems, optical transmission, IP routers/switches, and environmental telemetry using tools like MCP, Observium, and New Relic.
  • Automation and Continuous Improvement: Ability to develop and implement automations to reduce manual work, streamline reporting, support enterprise-wide monitoring initiatives, and carry out routine administration tasks.
  • Triage and Resolution: Skilled in triaging and resolving network events and incidents in accordance with SLAs, escalating appropriately via Jira Service Management.
  • Documentation and Communication: Strong documentation habits, including incident summaries, post-incident reviews (PIRs), and shift handover reports.
