Technical Specialist Opportunity

This role is perfect for a skilled individual who excels in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.

  • You will work on electrical and mechanical systems, as well as instrumentation and warehouse control systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • Provide expert advice on system performance and help create a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and implement improvements to boost service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and fix complex technical issues to keep systems running smoothly.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
  • Provide excellent service by quickly resolving technical issues.
  • Keep an eye on system performance and make improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and implement plans to enhance service delivery and support the centre's goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Grade Electrical License
  • Proficiency in using CMMS/WMS/WCS and other industry-related software.
  • Experience supporting automated systems with good electro-mechanical skills.
  • Mechanical/Electrical fault-finding and fault-rectification skills, including device replacement and configuration.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret data and control system reports.
  • Leadership abilities, supervising service teams within similar environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
