Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Capacity and Availability Coordinator to support a multi-year Defence program. This capability will enable better clinical decision making for the ADF.

This role involves developing and implementing capacity planning strategies for resources (AWS), ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. You'll monitor resource utilisation, plan for capacity upgrades, and work with the customer to understand future demand for services.

You'll collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, implement performance tuning strategies, and conduct regular assessments and audits to identify potential points of failure.

This is a large and complex multi-vendor environment, so you'll be challenged in this role. You'll need to demonstrate:

  • Working knowledge and experience with ITIL concepts and processes
  • Proven experience within ITIL Capacity and Availability disciplines, with a focus on cloud resource management (AWS)
  • Proactive, self-starter ability to troubleshoot problems from start to resolution and document findings
