We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our team as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Haematology at the University of New South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and advance your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting independent and collaborative research in the field of Haematology, with a focus on studying the mechanisms underlying thrombosis and thrombocytopenia. The incumbent will work closely with the Chief Investigator and collaborate with researchers from other institutions to develop research expertise and advance current projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing research plans and protocols
  • Conducting experiments and data analysis
  • Maintaining mouse colonies and working with human patient samples
  • Drafting and submitting ethics applications and reporting to committees
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A PhD in a related discipline or relevant work experience in a laboratory
  • Advanced knowledge in molecular and cellular biology, microscopy, and flow cytometry
  • Experience in Omics and statistical analysis
  • High-level communication skills and ability to network effectively
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate across disciplines
