Reliability Planner Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Planner to join our team in Smithfield, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in our organisation's success.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance planning and a passion for improving asset reliability and performance. They will be responsible for implementing maintenance best practices, managing preventative maintenance activities, and ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our mill and associated equipment.

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to improve asset reliability and performance.
  • Successfully manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including prioritising and scheduling tasks.
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to maintenance contractors, ensuring they carry out works safely.
  • Effectively communicate with production personnel daily to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of the mill and all associated equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in engineering or an accomplished trade and/or planning background, as well as experience in the pulp and paper industry. Alternatively, exposure to a 24/7 multi-process/heavy industrial manufacturing environment would be an ideal fit.

Requirements
  • Qualification in engineering or accomplished trade and/or planning background.
  • Experience in the pulp and paper industry (highly regarded but not mandatory).
  • Exposure to a 24/7 multi-process/heavy industrial manufacturing environment (ideal fit).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to be part of an on-call roster.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
