About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Air Force Training Group (AFTG) in Melbourne. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of AFTG outputs through efficient and effective contract and capability sustainment arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, management, and reporting of AFTG specific sustainment product schedules
  • Manage CASG sustainment performance management systems against required outcomes to enable senior executives in Air Force to make informed decisions and prioritise resources
  • Lead and manage contract and commercial support to ensure compliance with Commonwealth requirements and develop strategies to address potential risk in funding of AFTG outputs
  • Provide detailed commercial advice to senior executives, focusing on cost-effective options to achieve outcomes
  • Monitor business performance across AFTG and develop remediation strategies as necessary
  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify, respond, and provide advice to achieve AFTG business objectives and outcomes
