Community Engagement Specialist Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a professional with excellent communication skills to play a key role in developing and implementing best practice community engagement models.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and leading the implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies, as well as experience in preparing promotional and communication materials to advocate the benefits of projects to local communities.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about community engagement and has a strong ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, landholders and local council.

About the Role:
  • To develop and implement best practice community engagement models for major infrastructure projects.
  • To design and lead the implementation of tailored engagement strategies for a broad range of stakeholders.
  • To work closely with project partners to ensure that the community engagement strategy is aligned with the project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing best practice community engagement models.

  • Liaising with project partners to ensure alignment with project objectives.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in communication, media, public relations and stakeholder engagement or related field.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing best practice community engagement models.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare promotional and communication materials.
