Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned process engineer with expertise in Reverse Osmosis (RO) and wastewater treatment to join our Remediation Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on project delivery for wastewater treatment plants, monitoring and optimization of water treatment plants, and providing engineering support to operational teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project delivery for wastewater treatment plants, including process design, site setup/installation, commissioning, and ongoing operations.
  • Monitoring and optimization of temporary and permanent water treatment plants at client and Veolia sites.
  • Providing engineering support and supervision to WTP operational teams.
  • Ongoing operation of water treatment plants, ensuring they operate in line with design, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering or similar field.
  • Experience working as a Process/Chemical Engineer, preferably in an operational environment with RO and/or wastewater treatment experience.
  • Preferred project management experience in engineering capacity.
  • Eligibility to join Engineers Australia.
  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain a Department of Defence baseline security clearance.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport.
  • Ability to travel to different client and Veolia locations, including interstate.
